For all the kindness...

We are invited a lot by the people into their houses. I feel a bit weird about it, because I have my savings and are not without means....  I would like to give the world something back for this kindness. I still often think of tibetan yogis with whom I stayed four months in lapchi. How they live in the toughest conditions  on 4000 meters altitude in the mountains, even in winter. No electricity, no heating, no running water. The time I spent there is unforgettable. With Tara, an Austrian yogini who is living there for already 12 years, I had the intention to collect donations for buying solar cookers and a battery charger for the people there. I saw how difficult it is to get the necessary wood for cooking a simple meal, and how the empty batteries are thrown away in this pristine environment... This winter I had no time and opportunities for collecting the necessary money. So now I intend to donate the money, that I save now on this trip by being invited at the peoples homes, directly to the lapchi community. So you people who so kindly gave me food and drinks and a place to stay, know, that you are in fact supporting these tibetan yogis....
